There are two reasons.
First, we want to understand every product we sell. When customers call us up to ask questions or to troubleshoot an issue, we want to have personal experience of the e-cigarette so we will be able to knowledgeably answer any questions.
Second, we want to provide meaningful guidance instead of overwhelming customers with endless choices. Some e-cigarette models are much better than others and we only want to guide our customers to the best of the best.
Rather than stocking everything available, we test devices and select only the products that genuinely stand out.
Flavor is our top priority.
We evaluate how accurately a device reproduces subtle flavor notes and how consistently it performs across different flavor profiles.
Some devices produce more vapor.
Some have larger batteries.
But if a device doesn't deliver excellent flavor, it won't make our lineup.
Many of our customers are former smokers who simply want a reliable alternative to cigarettes.
We don't want to have to go to school to learn how to use an e-cigarette and we don't want to get our hands sticky every time we refill a pod. We know our customers feel the same.
We look for devices that are intuitive, easy to refill, and easy to maintain.
A device isn't helpful if it constantly leaks, burns coils, or requires troubleshooting.
We evaluate long-term usability and reliability before recommending a product.
We consider whether a device can comfortably get most users through a day without constant charging. While battery life can vary depending on vaping habits, we won't recommend a product if we don't find that the batteries are well made, reliable, and offer a reasonable useful life.
Not every customer wants the same thing.
Some prioritize flavor.
Some want simplicity.
Some want maximum battery life.
Some want a device that looks elegant in professional settings.
We choose devices that serve distinct customer needs rather than carrying multiple devices that do the same thing.
We use our own e-liquids during testing.
We always start with Hawaiian White Guava as this is one of our most delicate flavors. Subtle flavors often reveal differences between devices that may be hidden when testing sweeter or more heavily flavored liquids. Hawaiian White Guava has some beautiful, sweet, nuanced notes that many e-cigarettes miss. If a device can make Hawaiian White Guava sing, we know it has promise and we'll move on to testing it with other flavors.
Devices are also evaluated across multiple wattage settings, coil options, and usage styles before being considered for inclusion.
