Kai’s Virgin Vapor has been owned and operated by another company for the past few years. As reviews around the web can attest, Kai’s Virgin Vapor has been horrifically mismanaged during this time—terrible customer service, slow shipping times, and a departure from our long standing flavor recipes.
All of that is about to change. Kai’s Virgin Vapor is again owned by the founder and original owner. We are working hard to restore Kai’s Virgin Vapor to its original values of product quality, customer service, and integrity.
For these reasons, you will notice a few changes:
• Our flavors will change. We are returning to our original formulas and recipes. The interim owner appears have changed the recipes (while misleadingly leaving up our lab testing which no longer applied to the product he was selling). We’re incredibly proud of our original flavors and invite you to check out our lab tests. We’ve tested our flavors multiple times for the FDA’s entire list of harmful and potentially harmful constituents (HPHCs). Many of our flavors showed not a single HPHC detected despite testing down to the parts per million!
• Our products again contain the same few, simple ingredients they always have: certified organic and natural flavors, organic vegetable glycerin, and nicotine (if selected). It will take us a while to get our organic handling facility certification again, but the organic ingredients in the products are individually certified.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: If you ordered from Kai’s Virgin Vapor while it was operated by the interim owner, we recommend you order one nicotine level below what you were previously ordering. Customer reports and product testing suggest that the interim owner may have been significantly reducing the nicotine level in the product they were selling over the past year. Many customers noticed this but many did not. From speaking to other manufacturers, “under nic-ing” is an industry trend as e-cigarette devices have become more powerful and some manufacturers cut corners to save on costs. We don’t feel comfortable mislabeling our product so we suggest you drop the nicotine level you order from us so it will match what you were previously receiving to avoid suddenly ingesting more nicotine than you are used to.
• We will require an adult signature on delivery. We know it’s inconvenient, but it’s the law.
• We cannot ship to states where there is a flavor ban. We know other companies are doing it, but it has serious consequences. We would like to continue to be around to serve you for many years to come. To do that, we have to respect state flavor bans and cannot ship to addresses in these states. If you want the law to change, we recommend that you support organizations working to defend your vaping rights such as VaporTechnology.org and SFATA. If you live in a flavor ban state, you can order to an address in another state where you have friends or family or may be visiting.
• Customer service will drastically improve! We try our darnedest to make sure you walk away happy. We take tremendous pride in our product and our customer service and will do absolutely all that we can to resolve any issues to your satisfaction. We are extremely responsive to customer feedback and will work hard to improve based on your input so please reach out to us with any issue large or small.
• We have moved our operations to Texas and all orders will now ship from our Texas fulfillment center. Most orders ship in 24 hours or less. Same day shipping cutoff is generally around noon Texas time.
