Check out our latest lab test results!
Our lab testing protocols have developed and expanded over the years. We currently test all of our flavors for a complete panel of 37 different compounds that the FDA has identified as being harmful and potentially harmful constituents (HPHCs) in e-liquid.
The HPHC list is diverse and includes everything from formaldehyde and acetaldehyde to diacetyl and heavy metals.
All compounds are not equal. For example, some compounds on the list may represent major toxicity concerns. Others might be potentially of concern but are still present in drastically reduced levels versus potential exposure from smoking traditional cigarettes. Still others might only represent a mild or moderate concern such as potential lung irritation.
As far as we know, we are the only e-liquid manufacturer in the world that tests for this extensive list of HPHCs and publicly publishes the results. We do this because we strongly feel that vapers deserve to be able to make a fully informed decision when it comes to a product that has a potential effect on their health.
There is, as of yet, no published list of safe inhalation levels in vape juice for any of these compounds. For this reason, we publish our complete test results to allow our customers to make informed decisions when it comes to their health.
Having the exact numbers will enable you to compare potential exposure from our product to potential exposure from other vape juices or traditional cigarettes. Unfortunately, we cannot make this comparison for you as the FDA considers this to be presenting our product with modified risk claims (that is, saying it is less risky than cigarettes, for example). Modified risk claims are strictly controlled by the FDA and, unless a manufacturer has submitted a PMTA application specifically seeking a modified risk designation (which is very expensive), manufacturers are not allowed to make statements comparing the product to other products–even if those comparisons are true. For this reason, we present our lab results and must leave it up to you to research this for yourself.
Please note that heavy metals were not detected in any of our flavors, nor was diacetyl, acetoin or acetyl propionyl. In fact, a number of flavors show no detectable HPHC’s of any kind including our flavors Bed of Roses, Coconut Conniption, Death by Chocolate, Menthol Moon Drops (beyond the presence of menthol itself), Romancing the Strawberry, Singing the Blues and Wicked Watermelon. (Note: Our most recent testing added Original Sin to this list, we will post results shortly). This list may vary slightly based on our most recent test results.
We are very proud of our lab results and we want you to be able to appreciate them, too! Check out our article on
how to read a vape juice lab report to help you understand what these reports mean. Note: some current test results were performed at a different lab so reports may look slightly different than the report in the article. However, by understanding that “BQL” means “below quantification limit,” which is explained in the article, you should be able to easily understand the most recent results.
Happy vaping!

This test is performed to confirm our mixing protocols are producing accurate nicotine levels in our finished product. We randomly chose four products from our stock shelves to send to the lab for testing. As you can see, all four returned results showing extreme accuracy with nicotine levels within less than +/- of 1 mg/mL of the target nicotine level.
