When purchasing over the internet, it's nice to have a walk through of exactly what you'll receive. Check out this pictorial to get a visual peek at what you'll find inside your new Joyetech Penguin Electric Cigarette Starter Kit.
The Joyetech Penguin comes direct from the factory packaged in a white box. The back of the box displays a list of the contents of the box, a notation as to the color of your new Joyetech Penguin (they are available in black, white, grey mix, light blue, light pink and purple mix) and a QR code. The QR code is located on the upper right and contains a scratch off area that reveals a security code. The security code can be entered at the Joyetech website in order to verify that the product is a genuine Joyetech device. Joyetech includes this feature in order to combat the all too prevalent practice in the Chinese market of competitors manufacturing inferior knock offs and them passing off as the real thing. This feature gives you the peace of mind that you have purchased the genuine article.

You can see why Joyetech named this electronic cigarette the "Penguin." The white version in particular, with the black inset at the top, is reminiscent of the sleek, curved body of an emperor penguin. The design allows this electronic cigarette to sit comfortably in the hand and the name certainly endows it with a "cuteness factor" that we find appealing.
A small, yellow insert gives you a few, handy "quick start" instructions to get your Joyetech Penguin up and running. For more detailed directions, you'll also find a larger insert (pictured later in this tutorial) or you can consult one of our detailed product tutorials.
Nested in the second tier of the box is your accessories package. Each item will be featured in its own photo below.
The Joyetech Penguin comes with a USB cord for recharging the battery. One end of the charger features a micro USB which plugs into the Joyetech Penguin itself. The other end features a standard USB which is meant to plug into any USB port. You'll find a USB port available on most computers manufactured over the last few years. Please note that the Joyetech Penguin does not come with an adapter that would enable you to plug it directly into a wall outlet. You will need to be able to charge it using a USB outlet only or else you must have a wall adapter in order to plug it into a wall outlet. A wall adapter is not included with the product, however, you can purchase one inexpensively at most places that sell electronics if you need to charge directly from a wall outlet.
The Joyetech Penguin comes with two atomizer heads (also known as coils). The 0.6 ohm coil is best suited to a mouth-to-lung style vaping. The 0.25 ohm coil is manufactured to compliment direct-to-lung vaping. You'll also find a silicone mouthpiece sleeve. This sleeve can be slipped over the mouthpiece to protect it when you need to stow the unit in your purse or bag. It will prevent it from attracting dirt or becoming contaminated by the lint you just know is hiding deep in your backpack. Definitely a handy accessory to have!
Joyetech also includes a fold out product guide that introduces you to the Penguin's basic features. It is fairly obviously written by someone for whom English is a second language, however, it is relatively easy to follow and can definitely get you up and running. Last but not least, you'll also find a Warranty Card tucked into your box. The warranty comes directly from Joyetech and offers repairs free of charge for 90 days should your unit prove to be defective.
